Gallery owner Martine Houtsaeger is best known by her artistic brand name ‘mARTine’. She is a Belgian visual artist based in Roeselare, Belgium. With a background in visual arts and more than three decades of experience as a graphic designer, Martine blends her design expertise with a deep passion for contemporary art. Her work features vibrant, colourful creations that explore themes of creativity, lifestyle and emotional connection, aiming to spark positive feelings in everyone who encounters them.
Her motto is “Art that makes you happy”.
Her artistic practice includes paintings, ceramics and mixed media.
Her ambition is to create art that is thoughtfully tailored to each customer.

Gallery mARTine presents a regularly changing program of exhibitions featuring both emerging and established artists. It is an inspiring place to discover local talent, which is why the exhibitions can differ greatly from one another.
